Dumping MySQL Database for Backup Purpose

# mysqldump -u root -p namaDatabase > /home/capung/namaDatabase.sql

Restore MySQL Database

Before restoring the database, first create a database using root account.

$ mysql -u root -p

mysql> create database DatabaseName;
mysql> exit;

$ mysql -u root -p DatabaseName < /home/capung/DatabaseName.sql
